Zeta Potential Analyzer
Overview
The Zeta Potential Analyzer measures the electrokinetic potential of colloidal particles, nanoparticles, and macromolecules in suspension using electrophoretic light scattering (ELS). Zeta potential is a critical parameter for predicting the stability of dispersions, emulsions, and suspensions in pharmaceuticals, coatings, food science, ceramics, and water treatment applications.
Combined with dynamic light scattering (DLS) for simultaneous particle size measurement, this instrument provides comprehensive characterization of colloidal systems in a single measurement.
Key Features
- Electrophoretic light scattering for zeta potential measurement
- Dynamic light scattering for particle size (0.3 nm – 10 µm)
- Disposable and reusable measurement cells
- pH titration and conductivity measurement options
- Automated attenuation and measurement optimization
- Protein mobility and molecular weight determination
